Wolverhampton Adventure Golf’s 18-hole dinosaur-themed adventure golf course is a fun, entertaining and unique afternoon out in Perton, Wolverhampton. The course has been designed so people of all ages and abilities can play the game together.
The game aims to complete our course in as few moves as possible, which we know can lead to high levels of competitiveness within groups. Read on to find our top tips to be a tee-rrific winner on our Jurassic course!

Adventure golf is all about navigating the various holes from the tee to the hole in as few moves as possible. Adventure golf, though similar to crazy golf is slightly different, crazy golf is where you have to manoeuvre past obstacles between you and your end goal, mini golf and adventure golf are miniature versions of traditional golf. In our case, the animatronic dinosaurs, water features and plants dotted around the course do not venture onto the miniature golf courses.
Every time you take a putt at the hole, count how many times you have to putt the ball before you get it into the pocket. Make a note of how many hits you took and then at the end of the final hole, tally up your number of attempts, the player with the lowest score wins.

Just because our Dudley adventure golf course at Wolverhampton Adventure Golf is available for children aged four and up doesn’t mean there isn’t strategy and skill involved.

Follow these tips and tricks to impress your friends at Dudley crazy golf and to help improve your golfing skills and navigate the bumps, angels and raised levels our Dudley adventure golf course has on offer.
1) Before you line up your shot, study the layout of the hole – how many bumps, dips or angles are between you and your goal?
2) Once you’ve placed your ball in the allotted starting position, hit the ball with a smooth but firm hit. If you lightly tap the ball it may take a long time to get into position and hitting it too vigorously may cause it to go off course! Having looked over the layout in the previous step, take into account any bumps or angles that you may need to navigate through. If you need to push the ball over a bump, a slightly harder tap may be needed compared to if you need to go down a slope.
3) Some of our holes have the pockets off at certain angles, increasing the difficulty with dips and bumps before the hole. This may mean you have to hit your ball off of a wall, or towards the left of the hole for it to get to the pocket.
4) Our 18-holes are all different – some are shorter, while others are longer. With the shorter holes, you may want to be more firm with your hits but not too aggressive – you don’t want your ball to overshoot the hole!
5) Have fun! Our dinosaur mini golf course is all about having fun, so remember to take a break, look around, and take some selfies with our various dinosaurs dotted around the course!
